Ole women finish eighth at St. Thomas Invitational

BECKER, Minn.- The St. Olaf women's golf team finished eighth of fourteen teams at this weekend's St. Thomas Invitational held at Pebble Creek Golf Club.

Lizzy Zahn was the Oles top golfer, tying for 17th place with 167 strokes. Teammate Rachel Wieme shot 170 strokes to tie for 24th and Emily Segar was third for the Oles, placing 33rd with 176 strokes.

Gustavus Adolphus won the event with three of the top five golfers.

The Oles will compete next weekend at the Luther College Invitational held in Decorah, Iowa at Oneota Golf Course.
