NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf baseball team rode wins from pitchers Brandon Agneberg and Alex Sommer in a 11-2 and 4-1 sweep of Saint John's University on Saturday at Mark Almli Field.

Game One: St. Olaf 11, Saint John's 2
Agneberg tossed a complete game five-hitter and Erik Nelson went 3-for-4 in the 11-2 win.

The Johnnies took a 2-1 lead in the top of the third, but St. Olaf used a five-run rally in its half of the third and never turned back.

Carson Jones went 2-for-5 with three runs and two RBIs while Nick Fuerst and Tyler Johnson had two hits in the victory as well.

Game Two: St. Olaf 4, Saint John's 1
Carson and Tyler Jones had two hits each and Sommer struck out five in his six innings of work.

The Oles' Erik Olson walked one, but struck out the side in the seventh to get his third save of 2009.

St. Olaf broke a scoreless tie in the bottom of the fourth with Tyler Johnson's RBI single. The Oles added to the lead with a three-run fifth on an RBI groundout from Todd Mathison, a single from Fuerst and a sacrifice fly off the bat of Nelson.

St. Olaf, which has won its last four, continues its busy stretch to finish the regular season tomorrow at Gustavus at 1 p.m. The Oles have ten games in the season's final seven days.
