Oles get top seed in regional, to play Beloit on Wednesday in Oshkosh

INDIANAPOLIS - The St. Olaf baseball team received the top seed in the six-team NCAA Division III Midwest Regional on Monday. The Oles (29-12) will play the sixth seed, Beloit College (28-7), on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Oshkosh, Wis.

St. Olaf, playing in its third NCAA tournament in the last four seasons, earned a bid to the event by winning the MIAC playoffs on Sunday with a 19-1 and 8-0 sweep of St. Thomas. The MIAC's regular season champion Tommies (31-10) are the second seed in the regional and will play UW-Stevens Point in the first round.
