St. Olaf swimmer Jacob Koch and diver Ian Staehle were named Collegiate Swimming Coaches Association of America Scholar All-Americans, the organization announced this summer.

To qualify, they both achieved a minimum of 3.5 GPA and participated in the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. According to the CSCAA, fewer than 6 percent of collegiate swimmers and divers are named CSCAA Scholar All-Americans.

The St. Olaf swimming and diving team won its 25th MIAC title in school history this winter before finishing fourth at the NCAA Division III Championships. The NCAA finish matched the best in school history.
