Volleyball's Prunty is MIAC's setter of the week

ST. PAUL, Minn. - St. Olaf junior setter Kelly Prunty was named the MIAC's setter of the week after she helped lead the Oles to a 5-0 start to the season, including a 4-0 record in the St. Olaf/Carleton Tournament over the weekend.

Prunty was named to the all-tournament team as she averaged 9.1 set assists/set with a total of 163 set assists, including 38 in a four-set win over Buena Vista. She also added 12 service aces and 32 kills with a .474 hitting percentage. Prunty had a career-high 11 kills in a non-conference win over Gustavus in the season opener on September 1.

St. Olaf plays at UW-Stout in a four-game tournament this weekend in Menomonie, Wis.
