Ole men over SJU 2-1

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. - Nathan Swenson and Blake Dressen scored as the St. Olaf men's soccer team beat host Saint John's University 2-1 on Saturday.

Dressen scored on an assist from John Zietlow in the fifth minute -- at 4:06 -- to give the Oles a 1-0 lead. It would stand at 1-0 until Swenson's score at 55:26. Phil Kennedy had an assist on the goal.

SJU came within one on Andrew Lilly's goal in the 68th minute, but Alex Kuehl made two second half saves to secure the St. Olaf win.

The Oles (4-0-1, 2-0-0 MIAC) play at Wartburg College on Wednesday in Waverly, Iowa.
