WAVERLY, Iowa - Sean Legler's goal in the third minute of overtime gave the St. Olaf men's soccer team a 2-1 win over host Wartburg College on Wednesday night.

Legler's strike, from about 40 yards out, kept the Oles (5-0-1, 2-0-0 MIAC) undefeated in the young season. The 5-0-1 mark is the best six-game stretch to start a season for St. Olaf since 1999.

Alex Kuehl earned the win in net, making seven saves.

The Oles needed to come-from-behind in Wednesday's win. Wartburg's Luke Prater's goal at the 45:31 mark gave the host Knights a 1-0 lead.

After the team's exchanged quality scoring opportunities, the Oles' Nathan Swenson's header evened the game at 1-1 on a feed from Preban Bay.

St. Olaf will play an MIAC contest at Concordia College-Moorhead on Saturday.
