Cobbers use double overtime to defeat women's soccer

MOORHEAD, Minn. - Concordia College-Moorhead defeated the St. Olaf women's soccer team 2-1 in double overtime on Saturday afternoon.
Molly Voigtlander's unassisted goal in the 109th minute gave Concordia (8-0-0, 4-0-0 MIAC) the win.
The Cobbers struck early, on a tally from Sam Johnson in the 12th minute to lead 1-0. St. Olaf had its goal from Lindsay Howard, her sixth of the year, at 27:27 to tie the game at 1-1.
The second half was filled with chances, but neither team scored. St. Olaf had eight of its 13 shots in the second half.
Samantha Sickbert made five saves in net for the Oles and Ali Nelson two for the Cobbers.
St. Olaf plays at Augsburg on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
