Men's soccer gets 1-0 win over Augsburg

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf men's soccer team topped Augsburg College 1-0 on Wednesday afternoon on Blake Dressen's second half goal.

Dressen's score, his third of 2009, came in the 64th minute on an assist from Nathan Swenson. Swenson now has a team-best 12 points.

Augsburg (5-4-1, 1-3-0 MIAC) held a 9-5 advantage in shots, but couldn't find one pas St. Olaf keeper Alex Kuehl. Kuehl made five saves for his third shutout of the season.

St. Olaf (7-1-1, 3-1-0 MIAC), ranked 21st in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll, plays at Gustavus Adolphus College on Saturday at 1 p.m.
