Volleyball rallies past Gusties in five

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Kim Smisek's 20 kills help St. Olaf outlast Gustavus Adolphus College in a five-set (25-17, 26-28, 21-25, 25-21, 15-7) volleyball win on Wednesday night at Skoglund Center.

The Oles had three others with at least 12 kills in the win. Katie Wolfram and Paige Olson had 13 each while Melissa Burch added 12.

Smisek hit .326 on the night, making only six errors in 43 attempts. She also added 16 digs.

The Gusties were led by Oliva Warren's 13 kills and 12 from Angel Ahrent.

St. Olaf (15-2, 3-1 MIAC) has now won seven in a row.
