Ole women beat Auggies 4-2

MINNEAPOLIS - The St. Olaf women's soccer team had goals from four different players in a 4-2 win over host Augsburg College on Wednesday night.
The Oles' (6-3-0, 3-1-0 MIAC) Catie Christoffel had a goal and two assists in the victory, which snapped a two-game losing streak.
Christoffel assisted on the game-winning goal by Anna Thies in the 71st minute, which broke a 2-2 tie. Ellie Steiner then added an insurance score just over five minutes later for the final margin.
Augsburg, which rallied to tie the game at 2-2 after falling behind 2-0, had goals from Courtney Gamrath and Lacey Hoover.
St. Olaf took a 1-0 lead to the half after Christoffel scored on a feed from Christine Barringer at the 13:40 mark. The lead was extended to 2-0 on Lindsay Howard's goal at 61:38.
The Oles host Gustavus Adolphus College on Saturday at 1 p.m.
