Women's soccer rolls past Gusties 3-1

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Lindsay Howard scored twice to propel St. Olaf to a 3-1 MIAC women's soccer win over Gustavus on Saturday afternoon.

Catie Christoffel added a goal and an assist in the win for the Oles (7-3-0, 4-1-0 MIAC). Christoffel fed Howard for the go-ahead goal in the opening minutes of the game.

Christoffel made it 2-0 just over seven minutes later with her eighth goal of the season on an assist from Allison Mills. After Gustavus' Meghan McMillan closed the gap to 2-1 later in the half, Howard added an insurance goal in the 59th minute.

St. Olaf hosts UW-Eau Claire on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
