COON RAPIDS, Minn. - Billy Utter shot a final-round 72 (E) on Monday to finish eighth (tie) as the St. Olaf men's golf team was fifth at the MIAC championships at Bunker Hills Golf Course.

Utter made back-to-back birdies on the third and fourth holes and, after a bogey on the seventh, made 11 straight pars to close his round.

Chris Conklin also fired a 72 in Monday's final round, which was the best score on the day with four other players. Conklin who made 14 straight pars to finish his round, finished 15th (tie) overall.

The Oles' final day 300 was the second-best team score of the day, behind champion Saint John's 296, and the best score for St. Olaf in 2009.
