NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Nathan Swenson had two goals and an assist to lead St. Olaf to a 4-0 non-conference men's soccer win over visiting Bethany Lutheran College on Tuesday afternoon.

The Oles (9-1-1, 4-1-0 MIAC), who moved up five spots to 16th in Tuesday's NSCAA Top 25 poll, did all their damage in the first half. After Phil Kennedy gave St. Olaf a 1-0 lead at 8:30, Swenson scored back-to-back goals in the 17th and 28th minutes to make it 3-0.

John Zietlow, who assisted on the game's first goal, then made it 4-0 with his tally at 32:45.

Harry Ullman made two saves to pick up the shutout victory in net for the Oles, who controlled the game. St. Olaf had a 26-0 advantage in corner kicks and a 36-4 edge in shots.

St. Olaf returns to MIAC play on Friday with a home match against the University of St. Thomas.
