ST. PAUL, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's soccer team lost a 2-1 match at Bethel University on Wednesday, on the host Royals' goal with 35 seconds left in regulation.

Brittany Griffore scored each of the Royals' goals. She notched the game-winning score, on a feed from Leah Hardie, which gave the Oles their second straight loss.

After the Oles missed a trio of scoring opportunities in the first 10 minutes, Bethel struck first with Griffore's first tally of the afternoon at 31:47.

The Oles' Christina Herron-Sweet tied the game in the 61st minute with her goal that assisted by Christine Barringer.

St. Olaf (11-6-0, 6-4-0 MIAC) now needs a victory in its final game, a meeting with Carleton on Saturday, to make the four-team MIAC playoffs.
