NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Carleton scored in the 86th minute to defeat the visiting St. Olaf women's soccer team on Saturday. With the loss, the Oles are eliminated from the MIAC's four-team playoffs.

The game-winner, credited to the Knights' Niki Tomita, was an attempted clear by St. Olaf that deflected straight back and into the Oles' net.

Lindsay Howard scored the Oles' goal, an unassisted score that tied the game at 1-1. Howard's 14 goals this season tied for second-best in school history while her 36 points are the top mark in at least 13 seasons.

The Oles' 11 wins this season are the most since 2004's 12 and the third-most all-time.
