Men's cross country a close second at MIAC's

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The St. Olaf men's cross country team, with a trio of all-conference honorees, finished second at the MIAC Championships on Saturday at Como Park.

Jacob Marotz led St. Olaf with a fourth place run, finishing in 25:56.1, just over 30 seconds off the winning pace. The Oles' Dubuol Ruon and Ben Wilson were also All-MIAC honorees, finishing eighth and 12th, respectively.

Hamline held off St. Olaf by five points to win the team title. St. Thomas was third.

St. Olaf will compete in the NCAA Central Region Championships on Nov. 14 in Grinnell, Iowa.
