Report reveals rise in ratings

The US News and World Report college rankings issue was released Aug. 19 to eager perspective students and colleges across the country. St. Olaf College jumped seven places since last year, placing 55th overall in the annual rankings of the best liberal arts colleges in the nation.

Football enjoys grand opening

A year ago, the St. Olaf football team needed 32 unanswered second-half points to top the Luther Norse by a single point in their season opener, staging the largest comeback in team history and fourth-largest ever in NCAA football.
