A little less than a month from now, the St. Olaf campus will become a frenzy of activity known as Roomdraw, which will begin at 4 pm on April 9 and end on April 15.
The 21st annual Carl Mellby Memorial Lecture series continued last Thursday with a talk by L. DeAne Lagerquist, Associate Professor and chair of religion. Lagerquists lecture was titled "The Observations of the Observed: Theological Literacy, the Liberal Arts and Global Perspective."
Moments after President Bush concluded his address to the nation on Monday night, students, facult, and community members gathered to hear Minnesota U.S. Attorney Tom Heffelfinger and former Minnesota U.S. Attorney David Lillehaug talk on the topic of "Civil Liberties During Wartime."
On Tuesday evening, the day after Britain, the United States and Spain pulled their latest Iraq resolution off the U.N. table, students gathered to hear a discussion on the relevance of the United Nations.
