Days before the the Texas and Ohio primary were to be held, Obama released an "Open Letter to Gay Americans" detailing his positions on gay rights and explaining why gays (and those who support them) should vote for him.
Last Thursday, you received some mail. At this point, it's predictable -- a letter indicating a tuition increase for the 2008-2009 school year. Many were and continue to be upset with yet another increase of the cost of a higher education.
We've all seen the signs. Second semester is well under way, the Minnesota breezes are slightly less than arctic and the sunlight now lingers well past 4:00 p.m.
After a surprisingly relaxing day of classes, I found a slip from the college in my p.o. box. I was initially assuaged by the "Dear St. Olaf Students," as it portended that I wasn't being reprimanded for some personally forgotten offense.
