Eight Oles bound for national meet

The St. Olaf swimming and diving team capped off another great season as they placed second in both the men's and women's section at the MIAC Championships. Gustavus nipped the men 909.5-858, and the women finished 160 points behind the Gusties.

Lets play ball

Even though the weather outside may lead you to believe otherwise, spring actually arrived three weeks ago. Its coming wasnt accompanied by a spring thaw (obviously), the emergence of the long-forgotten sun, or even the budding of the trees. Rather, it began with the uttering of that one magical phrase: Pitchers and catchers report.

Men blanked by top-ranked Johnnies

Despite playing a challenging schedule and lacking playoff experience, the St. Olaf mens hockey team finally earned a coveted but elusive postseason berth after 13 years of drought.

Men second at MIAC

The St. Olaf mens indoor track team used what coach Bill Thornton called a perfect Friday night and solid Saturday performance to capture second place at the MIAC Indoor Championships.

Baseball takes a pair at the Dome

The St. Olaf baseball team began their 2004 season on the right foot by sweeping a doubleheader from Upper Iowa University at the Metrodome last Wednesday night.
