Women swim as cameras roll

St. Olaf swimming and diving coaches Dave and Bob Hauck left campus for the Division III National Championship Meet in St. Peters, Mo. on March 10 with four women swimmers and returned March 14 with three All-American athletes and a feature story set to air on CBS during the Final Four.

Men hope trip ends losing streak

Despite a solid all-around effort, the St. Olaf mens tennis team was no match for Gustavus in a March 13 conference match at the Owatonna Fitness Center. The Gusties swept the Oles 9-0, dropping St. Olafs season record to 2-4.

Pair honored as All-Americans

Becky Peterson 04 and Peter Cathcart 06 left for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Champion-ships, held March 12-13 in Whitewater, Wis., having already captured 2004 MIAC championships in the 55 meter hurdles and shot put, respectively. Peterson and Cathcart, however, decided to add a little more icing on the cake of two incredible seasons; both returned to campus as St. Olafs newest track All-Americans.

Descent into Madness

It is that time of year again. A time when office production comes to a standstill, people suddenly need their sick days to combat the 48-hour flu or to visit their grandmother in the hospital.

Tennis performs well despite record

Less than 24-hours after dropping a 6-3 match to St. Kates on Friday night, the women were back on the courts Saturday afternoon, grinding their way to a 6-3 win over Cornell.
