The St. Olaf mens and womens swimming and diving team shrugged off an early 11 a.m. starting time to post yet another stellar performance at Saturdays first annual Northfield Colleges Quad Classic. Skoglund Pool hosted the swimming portion of the meet while Carleton served as the site for the diving competition.
The adage on the walls of the wrestling room, Dedication, Desire, Determination, has never carried so much weight as it does this season for the St. Olaf Wrestling team.
A somewhat reduced womens cross country team travelled to Grinnell, Iowa to compete against the 23 teams that make up Division IIIs Central Regional.
Last year, the men's cross country team finished the Central Regional race in a tie with Carleton for the fourth and final spot in the National Championship Meet. A tie breaker allowed the Oles to move on to the St. Olaf hosted event. This year the team finished five points in front of Carleton, but finished fifth overall and will not make a repeat trip to the National meet.
