Volleyball stays in playoff hunt

Despite its up-and-down start to the 2005 season, the St. Olaf volleyball team finally appears to be getting back on the right track.

Oles remain undefeated: Offense leads way in rout of Macalester

The St. Olaf football team thoroughly trounced non-conference opponent Macalester College Saturday in a one-sided 71-10 victory. With their win over the Scots, the Oles improved their overall record to 3-0.

Inside the Lines: Sound of sport

Imagine, for a moment, that you've somehow managed to score great seats to the 2006 NCAA basketball National Championship. Imagine the roar of the crowd after a breakaway dunk, the gusto of the pep band as they struggle to make themselves heard over the din and the howling protests of a head coach as he argues with the referee. Some experience, huh?

Men hang tough in MIAC

A year ago, the St. Olaf men's soccer team came out of nowhere to capture a share of their first conference title since 1998. This fall, the team's quest to defend that crown has not gone entirely according to plan.

Soccer stops skid

Winless since the beginning of September, the women's soccer team is now starting to emerge from its season-long funk. The Oles stopped a six-game losing skid (which started on Sept. 7) with victories in their two most recent games.
