The St. Olaf cross country runners made their annual showing at the MIAC championships Saturday in St. Paul, and while the women performed well to place third, the men experienced a frustrating end to their frustrating season with a sixth place finish.

The St. Olaf volleyball team finished their season with three difficult losses. In the final home game for senior captains Andrea Otteman and Audrey Volstad, the young Oles lost 29-31, 27-30, 30-25, 22-30 to rival Carleton College in the St. Olaf Skoglund Gym. Because St. Olaf missed a few crucial opportunities, the loss was even tougher to swallow. Both captains characterized the defeat as disappointing.
