Poet reads from book-length poem 'Symphony'

As part of the fall "Meet the Author" series organized by the St. Olaf and Carleton campus bookstores, and in promotion of his new work "Symphony", Sid Gershgoren gave a reading on Wednesday, Oct. 9, in Viking Theater.

Cantus performs daring, diverse music

Mix eleven post-grad guys with ample amounts of talent, follow with copious quantities of hard work. Let simmer for seven years in Minneapolis. Yield: 1 professional, non-profit, male vocal ensemble named Cantus. Cantus’ concert on Oct. 8 in Boe Chapel proved that their concoction of blended voices, perfected parts, and smooth tone is a recipe for luscious sound.
