Shadow puppets shed light

Many of us have amused ourselves by making two-fingered bunny shadows on the wall. Last Friday’s performance of “Shadow Puppets of Java,” however cast this art in a new light.

'Quake' shakes up theater

Not every girl’s journey to love includes an extended bike tour, an ecumenical guru, liaisons with a cowboy and an abusive mechanic, an obsession with a scientifically minded female serial killer and a techno dance number. These wonderfully quirky plot elements made “Quake” a strong and memorable performance.

Play translates to laughs

The classics department put on an adaptation of Plautus’ “Curculio” (Latin for “weevil”) last Friday and Saturday for the biennial incarnation of the Latin play.
