Holy pilgrimage to Spain

Art and medieval historians Alice Bauer and Scott Montgomery spoke to a sizeable crowd in Viking Theater Friday on the topic of their 1000-mile, 67-day pilgrimage from Le Puy en Velay, France to Santiago de Compostela, Spain. The couple shared fond memories, amazing stories and breathtaking slides of their journey, relaying to students just how intense and rewarding a medieval pilgrimage can be.

Music, art, theater rev up for fall

With classes in full swing and campus life buzzing once again, the music, theater and art departments at St. Olaf are busy preparing and planning their fall events.

Chenoweth horns in

There's a new face on the French horn. Friday night's recital by University of Dayton professor and principal horn player Richard Chenoweth proved to a large audience of St. Olaf students that there is more to the French horn than they could ever have imagined.
