Christmas comes but once a year, and for most of that year at St. Olaf people are making elaborate plans for the festival for which St. Olaf is so famous. It is a large production, involving six conductors, five choirs and the St. Olaf Orchestra. Before the show can begin, however, the sets and programs must be designed.
A sense of community, uniting to present a whole, choosing between two sides of ones personality, finding support systems in another person: These are all ideas behind the movement designed by or for three St. Olaf senior dance majors for their upcoming performance, Twisted Seeds, to be performed Dec. 8 and 9 at 7:30 p.m. in Kelsey Theatre.
The tabloids have spawned a musical. No, it isnt Nick and Jessicas Divorce Adventure, it is a spectacle far more unlikely: Bat Boy the Musical. Originating in London and based on a World News Weekly headline, Bat Boy has arrived at St. Olaf, courtesy of seniors Max Wojtanowicz and Kathryn Skare.
