Christian Adeti, African drummer and dancer, completed a one-day residency this past Friday with the St. Olaf dance department. A performer originally from Ghana, he teaches at various schools in the cities, as well as at Carleton College.
The previous weekend, I attended an event at the Loft, and somehow found myself in conversation with Thursdays poet-in-residence, Ed Bok Lee. And, somehow, I tripped into a festering vat of humiliation. I would like to assure the St. Olaf community that I am not the stalker I appeared to be at the Loft.
