Revelations of Mann delight

Only one word ricocheted off the inner walls of my brain as I sat in the audience of Kelsey Theater on Tuesday, Oct. 23. The word bounced back and forth like a strung out ping-pong ball, and by the end of David Mann’s original one-man show, “Revelations of Mann,” I had to speak it. “Schizophrenia.”

Professor pianists do the 'Monster Mash'

The much-anticipated “Monster Concert” began with a gecko leisurely strolling out on stage. Members of the St. Olaf piano faculty, dressed head to toe in outlandish costumes, appeared one by one all around Urness Recital Hall during community time on Thursday.

Dancer Keith Johnson teaches, performs

Los Angeles choreographer Keith Johnson and his Long Beach-based dance company treated the St. Olaf dance department to a residency last week. Johnson and his six dancers spent the week teaching master classes, taking classes and performing.
