At about 9:30 p.m., approximately 20 males ran through the main stage area and exited the building through a door in the backstage green room.

This incident could hold grave consequences for the 2004 MIAC mens cross country champions, whose victory at last seasons conference meet was their first since 1976. The team will now not compete in another race before the 2005 championships, which are to be held on Oct. 29 in St. Pauls Como Park.
Its a disadvantage for us [competitively] in that were not going to have as much racing experience as wed like, team captain Jason Havey 06 said. But were just as talented and hard-working as last year, and weve got a good chance to repeat [as conference champions].
The team will go almost a month between competitions after taking the previous week off as well. The men have not raced since Sept. 30 at the Blugold Invitational in Colfax, Wis.
