Rumor has it: Dean Kneser rented out the Legion on Halloween

Rumor has it that Dean of Students Greg Kneser rented out the American Legion for all of the open days around Halloween to prevent students from having parties during the holiday weekend. This rumor is false. "I'm not nearly that creative," Kneser said. "But, if someone was that sneaky or controlling by nature, it would be a clever idea." Kneser said he investigated the claims himself. "After the third time I heard the rumor, we called George, the manager of the Legion and asked him if he knew anything about this," Kneser said. He said that he had not heard such a rumor, and that at the time there were open dates around Halloween, but no one had contacted him about booking the hall.
