Victories for the Oles came from Tom Cruse '07 in the 600-yard and 800-yard dash, who sprinted for a time of 1:14:09 in the 600 and 1:55:46 in the 800, and Pete Cathcart's '06 551-foot shot put throw.
Cathcarts toss qualified as an NCAA provisional distance, and also broke the Carleton Recreation Center record, previously set in 2002. The next closer competitor was St. John's hurler Chris Tift, who threw 501 feet.
In the 55-meter dash, Horace Gant '08 finished third with a time of 6.61, .15 seconds behind the first-place time.
Long-distance man and cross-country All-American Sam Hauck '06 placed fifth in the 3,000-meter run. Teammate Tony Hoff '07 finished a second behind Hauck.
Both Hauck and Hoff also finished third and fourth, respectively, in the 5,000-meter run.
The 800-meter relay team, comprised of Latravis Henry '07, Trey Williams '06, Aaron Schloer '07 and Gant, finished first with a time of 1:31:17.
St. Thomas won the meet for the 22nd-straight year.
Cathcart will be the Oles' lone representative in this weekends NCAA Indoor Track and Field National Championships held at St. Olaf's Tostrud Center.
