The women's squad is excited about the addition of both Paige Bromen '08 and Britta Hendrickson '09.
Bromen transferred to St. Olaf from Division-I Furman University in the fall. Bromen comes to St. Olaf with a fall 2005 scoring average of an impressive 77.3.
Hendrickson was a Minnesota state tournament participant out of Red Wing.
Both athletes are coming off a winter in which they were both members of the women's basketball team.
Returning for the Oles is Amy Springer, who led the fall campaign with an 88.6 scoring average and a low competitive round of 81 at the Concordia Invitational.
"Look for the addition of strong golfers to our women's program to propel us to the middle to top of the MIAC conference this spring," Head hoach Le Ann Finger '85 said.
The women's team plays three-straight weekends this spring starting April 8-9 in Winona.
