Students who did relief work in the South over spring break returned to campus intact, save one student with a mysterious rash. Had nights spent snuggled in sleeping bags on church basement floors given students more tangible mementos than fuzzy recollections of late-night conversations?
Nope. An exterminator was unable to find any traces of bedbugs, according to Pamela McDowell, director of residence life.
Student leaders concurred.
There was actually only a bedbug scare, said Ishanaa Rambachan '08, one of the Ole Spring Relief co-coordinators, but no actual bedbug contamination on the trip.
