In an email sent out to the St. Olaf student body, Dean Kneser said, "Many did not know Tim, but those who did knew that he lived his life with strength and dignity, working to address some very, very serious health challenges that most college age students will never have to encounter."

Tim's visitation was held Sunday at the Bolt Funeral Home in Faribault, where Tim is from, and the funeral was held at the First English Lutheran Church Monday.
