
The Oles offered impressive performances in numerous events.
In the 100 meter dash, Tre Williams 06 finished fourth, clocking in a time of 11.10, followed by Latravis Henry 07 in 16th place with 11.86. Williams also produced a fourth place finish in the 200 with a time of 22.96, followed by Aaron Schloer 07 who took seventh place in 23.33. During the 400, Tom Cruse 07 clocked in at 49.96, offering a seventh-place finish, followed by ninth-place finisher, Evan Sundquist 05, who ran a time of 51.14.
The 1500 meter run proved to be tough competition, 6th place was the top Ole finish, by Malcolm Richards 05, who finished the race at 4:04.07, followed by John Lamppa 07 at 4:14.98.
In the 5000 meter run, the Oles pulled off higher place finishes, as Tony Hoff finished fifth with a time of 15:53.28, followed by Sam Hauck in ninth place with 16:26.88. The Saturday relays brought in decent times, as the Oles took third place in both heat one and two 4 x 100 medley relays, the first heat finishing with a time of 3:24.78 and the second in 3:31.53.
The highest place finish for the meet was in the long jump, provided by Jason Roberts 07, who jumped a distance of 21 feet, nine inches (6.63 m).
St. Olafs next competition for the men will take place this Saturday in Collegeville, Minn., home of St. Johns College. The Meet of Saints begins at 1 p.m.
