St. Olaf Chemistry Society

The St. Olaf Chemistry Society (SOCS) is a group of chemistry students, not only majors, who enjoy chemistry and seek opportunities to use chemistry outside of the classroom. Our activities include: making ice cream with liquid nitrogen, titration contests, career presentations, chemistry demonstrations, National Chemistry Week and Earth Day celebrations, and trips to local schools to teach the community about chemistry.
